Yousef AbuGharbieh

Founding Partner, Companion Ventures

Yousef AbuGharbieh is an investor, operator, and advisor who has spent a decade working with early-stage and emerging companies. He is a founding partner of Companion Ventures, an early-stage investment partnership, and advises growth-stage companies through Boustan Advisors. He also serves as an advisor to Noorquest Capital and Crescent Private Wealth, both of which are faith-based investment managers.

His investment experience includes venture capital, growth equity, and search funds. He has made personal investments in technology startups, search funds, and healthcare services businesses, and currently serves on the board of Faro Energy, a solar energy developer in Brazil.

Previously, Yousef spent seven years as Chief Operating Officer of a renewable energy investment holding company and three years as a management consultant at McKinsey & Company.

Yousef holds a JD/MBA from Yale University and is a licensed attorney in North Carolina. He graduated as a Robertson Scholar from Duke University and UNC-Chapel Hill, where he continues to mentor current scholars.

He lives in North Carolina's Triangle region with his wife and their two children.
