Nabile Safdar, MD, MPH, is Chief AI Officer for Emory Healthcare and Emory University. Emory Healthcare is an academic health system with 11 hospitals, more than 30,000 employees, and more than 850,000 patients served annually. Dr. Safdar directs enterprise AI strategy across Emory’s clinical and academic missions, overseeing the selection, development, governance, and evaluation of AI across patient care, operations, research, and education. A practicing pediatric radiologist, Dr. Safdar also serves as Endowed Professor of Informatics in Radiology at the Emory University School of Medicine.
