Zafir Khan is a product and technology leader with extensive experience building consumer products and bringing together perspectives from engineering, product management, marketing, and business strategy. He currently serves as Senior Director of Consumer Product at WhatsApp and Senior Director of Product Management at Meta, where he works on products designed to support meaningful everyday communication.

Before joining Meta, Zafir spent more than six years at Google in a range of roles, including Software Engineer, Product Marketing Manager, and Account Manager. As a software engineer, he helped develop the Android Camera app for Nexus and Google Pixel devices. In product marketing, he worked across Google Cloud, Google Offers and Wallet, and the Android Nexus program.

Zafir holds a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematical Economic Analysis from Rice University.
